The first five or six albums were mighty impressive, though. I really wanted to like this. Iris Dement is Mrs. Greg Brown, if I'm not very much mistaken. <br><br>This is sweet, corny, off-beat and off-kilter, but it's no Come Back To Us Barbara Lewis Hare Krishna Beauregard. :) I'm afraid I have difficulty getting excited about anything John Prine's done since the mid-1980s. The first five or six albums were mighty impressive, though. I really wanted to like this. Iris Dement is Mrs. Greg Brown, if I'm not very much mistaken.

This is sweet, corny, off-beat and off-kilter, but it's no Come Back To Us Barbara Lewis Hare Krishna Beauregard. :)
