Strawberry Swing was just randomly selected on my iTunes playlist and I would like to thank you for introducing me to such a beautiful song. Prior to hearing this song I had written off Coldplay for any number of reasons. Thanks.

I am going to deviate from the theme of baseball, which while I appreciate that you love it I personally have a hard time seeing any value/entertainment in the game, and the song Centerfield for a moment. If Fosse wasn't giving up a corner of the plate, Pete was gonna run him down.

Hey, man, Pete just did what he had to do. Those other guys mentioned all had some class when they played for the Indians. I guess that's what always turned me off about Belle. The people of Cleveland tolerated him like the people in San Fran tolerated Barry Bonds. The minute Belle left town, there was a huge sigh of relief from fans because the fear of getting a bat thrown at you had diminished by about 100%.

Many people in Cleveland still despise Rose for stunting the career of catcher Ray Fosse.

Albert Belle was a great player in his time, but man was he a dick. I know he was gone to the White Sox by the time of your '97 heartbreak, but I'm sure you cheered him lustily as he finished in the top 3 of the AL MVP voting every year from '94 to '96...

Funny how we wipe sports heroes from our memories completely when they turn out to be complete dickheads. But I still own my worship of Pete Rose as a child, so man up, Scott, and own Albert Belle. Just don't tell Sophie about him.

(BTW, I've always liked the Indians, and I was in the stands at Municipal Stadium for a game Dennis Eckersley pitched a couple weeks after his no-hitter in '77. I've still never made it to Jacobs Field, though.)

C'mon, Scott — I'm shocked that you didn't mention the keystone of those mid-90s Cleveland teams — Albert Belle!!!!
