That line about “Plant with the town's keeper looking all around for his street corner girl” always conjures up this ridiculous image of Robert Plant all decked out in some garish outfit searching a Medieval village with some old guy holding a lantern.” Don't know why that cracks me up as much as it does.
My father LOVED Led Zeppelin but this was one of the rare tunes by them that he didn't really care for.

Interesting, I never knew “Hey Hey What Can I Do” was that rare a track. It seems to have always been in my Zeppelin consciousness. Of course, when I moved to Detroit one of the main rock stations was WLLZ and depending on who you knew it either stood for Whole Lotta Led Zeppelin or We Love Led Zeppelin. Either way, they lived up to the nicknames.

It just now hit me that this wasn't on this year's Mothership compilation. I didn't even miss it. I guess that just goes to show how strong their overall catalog is.
