Great Song Scott! Sitting here Listening to it brought me right back to that day.
My oldest son & I turned on the TV as the second plane hit the towers. He was getting ready to get on the bus for Kindergarten. I wasnt sure he really understood what was happening at the time. But this morning as I was sending him off to middle school, he surprised me. He was watching me write a check and noticed the date. This lead to a conversation about that day 7 years ago. This time I asked what he remembered and I was surprised that he had very clear memories of events of 911. At 5 he was greatly effected by the sorrow our nation was feeling and understood the great loss for so many americans.
But then as any 7th grader would, he asked why 9/11 isnt a national holiday so they could get another day off of school. Kids!!!
