I've only listened to the song that's featured here, and while it certainly has heft, it lacks a certain something. Maybe it's not as melodic as I would have hoped, but I sure do like Grohl's big drum fill at the end.

I was extremely excited about it until I streamed it from their site last week. I don't think it delivers much at all. However, I'm not a QOTSA fan at all – and DW's right – to me it feels too much like Josh's record. The blatent Zep riffs are there, but not enough to make this a must get for me. And I really really wanted to love this.

I want to be psyched up for this, but the more it gets around, the more it feels like QOTSA with special guests (after all, Grohl was the drummer on Songs For The Deaf) – Regardless, your piece has given me a reason to give it a shot.
