I feel the same way. I love soft rock, but there isn't a single Air Supply song I like. I guess I'd pick “Every Woman in the World” if I had to pick one, but that's not saying much. It's appropriate that the first song in the 10/22/82 set is “I Can't Get Excited.” They're trying to tell you something, audience!

I saw 'em in 2004, and their voices were shot, out of tune, etc. Not that I could have done any better…but I was bummed, because I was a big fan.

I have a soft spot for Air Supply: either All Out of Love or Lost in Love was the first song that I got utterly sick of hearing on the radio. Or maybe it was both: it was years before I figured out that they weren't the same song.

At any rate, thanks for reminding me of a simpler time, when Middle School was still called Jr. High, and the first time I got pissed that the less-qualified candidate had become president.

Oh! I was soooo happy to go see Air Supply in 1982. I was ten.
And, nostalgic fool that I am, I went to see them do a casino show just last year, and the words 'icky' and 'creepy' were redefined. They still got pipes, though.
