bootleg city: bruce springsteen, “the agora club (september 8, 1978)”

Friday, February 17th, 2006 by Jeff Giles

This is going to be a brief post, my friends:as those of you who read this space with a fine-toothed comb may already know, I’ve been out of town since the 8th, and won’t be back ’til the 22nd, and everything you’ve been reading since I left was written ahead of time and post-dated.

Except for this here post. I ran out of time. Long story short, I don’t have the kind of time I’d like to tell you all about this great concert, or super reader and mensch Malchus, who gifted it to me, or anything at all, really.

But it’s The Boss, anyway, and I guess you probably don’t really care about all that stuff. So I’ll just give it to you straight: Springsteen, Agora, 1978. Get your rock on (and thank Malchus while you’re at it).

See you next week!
