This is crearly a joke, Lou wont say something horrible like ”Awesome, awesome. It’s great to hear from you” in a interview unless its irony or twisted sarcasm. He is NOT a nice guy, he is a mean bad motherfucker and thats why he is the god of Punk rock.

I'm fairly certain that this is the just about the best interview with Lou Reed that I've ever read. He seems to default to curmudgeon but you managed to disarm that. Great work.
