Bootleg City: Ryan Adams, St. Luke’s (2007)
Friday, August 17th, 2007 by Jeff Giles
His public displays of dickishness soured me on his music long ago — and hell, who can keep up with his output anyway? — but I know we’ve got some Ryan Adams fans in the audience, and so, thanks to Stephen in England, we’re going to the Adams Park suburbs of Bootleg City this week. Just like the Nick Lowe set he shared with us a few weeks ago, this was recorded for the BBC at St. Luke’s. Expect the customary solid fidelity, and please keep the “Summer of ‘69″ jokes to a minimum.
Thanks, Stephen!
