And with that statement, I pretty much have no desire to continue reading this column (which, admittedly, is three years old anyhow). The 80s were terrible, aside from U2, REM, and artists who got their start in the 60s or 70s and kept making music in the 80s (but even then, sometimes the music went downhill… See most of Paul McCartney’s output, for instance).

He's not involved with "Peter Gunn" as the creative differences had already split the group by then. The bulk of the group had first come together to work on the ABC "Lexicon of Love" album and eventually started working on their own stuff. Enough is Enough is a pretty decent tune, as is the last track on side 1 (Waiting on a Miracle). I managed to snare a CD copy during the very short time Capitol had it issued, still play it every now and then.
