I didn't know Ian Thomas wrote that song. Even though Dave Thomas was no longer on "SCTV," America performed "Right Before Your Eyes" on the "Jane Eyrehead" episode in late '82:

http://sctvguide.ca/episodes/sctv_s54.htm#Show_4

Out of the 5 original members involved in the project in the beginning, 3 continued as Art of Noise after the first album, and Trevor Horn was not one of them. He's not involved with "Peter Gunn" as the creative differences had already split the group by then. The bulk of the group had first come together to work on the ABC "Lexicon of Love" album and eventually started working on their own stuff.

I may be one of the few that April Wine may have "impressed" with their Power Play album. Enough is Enough is a pretty decent tune, as is the last track on side 1 (Waiting on a Miracle). They apparently raised a few eyebrows with If You See Kay (hmmmmm, say it aloud, doesn't that spell.... ?) before the album vanished into the sunset. I managed to snare a CD copy during the very short time Capitol had it issued, still play it every now and then.

The first AON record was made out of bits and pieces from the Yes record that Trevor Horn produced, or so I have been told.
