The songs weren't all great - in fact, the last one was kind of a stinker - but I loved her verve and energy. I've pretty much been a fan of Patty ever since. I don't think I ever heard either of the two singles from the EP on the radio, but I saw the videos on MTV regularly. Did anyone else see the Reuniting The Band on VH-1 that featured Scandal? Patty was looking good!

Sade... oooh. So smooth. :) I remember playing the first single, "Hang On To Your Love", at the record store where I worked when it came out and being so knocked out. I'm thrilled that she is still having such major success. The new CD is just as quality as the old stuff.

Santana had a couple of winning singles in the '80s (at least to me): "Hold On" and (of course) "Winning". I loved both of those. Honestly, I can handle them better than the 1970s classics that have worn out their welcome with me. ("Oh Yeah Combover"... LOL)

It's finally Scandal week! Yay! I freakin' loved that EP when it was out. In recent years, Saga has added a little heaviness to their sound and, on their last album, lost longtime singer Michael Sadler for a new vocalist.

That I know this much about Saga explains why I go to bed early on Saturday night.

You've got a good ear, man. On these two songs, though, I'm thinkinbg they sound kinda like the Fixx, oddly enough.

Saga's big hit was “On the Loose,” and it's a killer.
