In 1986, I was dating a girl who loved Lionel Richie. We were on the phone one day, and she told me she had heard his new single. “It's GOOD,” she assured me, knowing that I was not a fan. Then I finally heard it, and couldn't believe me ears. “Oh, what a feeling”? Are you kidding me? Wasn't that the Toyota tag line at the time?

Can't even bring myself to watch the above video with the sound off. Awful, just awful.
