The mastering on this stinks big time! It is LOUD and clipping is audible on a few songs.<br>Which is too bad because Mack did a fine production job on this but the effect of the production is marred by the lousy loud mastering job on the entire album.<br>I hope someday a remaster or whatever can be done to fix this problem.<br><br><br>There's a few strong songs on Meteor and the rest is 'ok' - not the best in comparison to The Shazam's previous releases. I like NFU and totally agree about the F word - I'm personally not really into it's blatant use here - I would've relegated this track to a non-album track release.<br><br>Campiness factor is slightly elevated on this release over previous releases (IMHO).<br><br>Performance-wise - Hans is firing on all cylinders with his guitar playing and singing.<br><br>I'd probably give this album 3 stars outta 5 - it was a long wait for Meteor that turned out to be 'mediocre' in comparison to the fine Shazam back catalog.
