You need to track down the cover of “Take Me with U” Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings did for SPIN's 20th anniversary issue of “Purple Rain.” Transforms one of my all-time fav Prince songs into a funky horn-driven masterpiece. I'd be happy to share if I can figure out how to do it–it's a can't miss.

“I'm Not Gonna Cry” is my favorite Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings song and one of my favorite soul/funk tracks ever. When I saw them live last year, they opened the show with it and I was in heaven.
