I'm not a musician, so I don't know how to describe it, but the production sounds really nice and crisp - perhaps not as ethereal as the production on his previous stuff? Particularly the vocal. Maybe that's just the current state of compression and a whole other topic, but it grabbed my ear whereas previously he was an artist I kinda liked but didn't feel too strongly about. Anyway, sounds good good good, I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for showcasing it.

Just visited his website, listened to clips and ordered the CD.
