Actually, I found my copy, and it's not censored so much as truncated down to the first 45 seconds before fading out to another song. Dunno what the deal was. Maybe the good doctor decided that that was as much as he could play without getting into dildos and such.

I might have it on some another tape that I haven't digitized yet, but I hope you'll understand that that's not at the top of my priority list right now. Maybe some Dementite forum can help you track down a cleaner copy of the song than anything I could provide.

I recall a parody on the Z100 Morning Zoo, entitled “Blame It On Hussein.”

I pulled my copy of it from an old Dr. Demento tape. It's bowdlerized, which is probably why I don't remember the "towelheaded dildo" line.

I always get Arrested Development and Soul II Soul mixed up with each other-both great artists.
But now im obsessed with listening to Milli Vanilli (BTW, thanks for linking Jon Cummings piece – I missed if the first time around).

I've thought up a killer new feature for “Chart Attack!” (since the whole “Song of the Week” thing just leads to a lot of grousing and a nagging desire to see what Jason's hair looked like in 1989). Every time Jason covers a chart from the '80s, Acoustic '80s have to perform the whole thing at their next gig. Can't decide whether I'd rather hear Jason croon “Don't Know Much” or scream “Tiiiiiiiinnnn ROOF! Rusted.”

back to life is a good track, but growing up in England it was absolutely inescapable and I grew to hate it. It doesn't help that as a former metalhead I am duty bound to point out that the main melody is the same as the famous riff from smoke on the water.
