According to most sources Debbie Allen performed Footloose at the Oscars. How come Kenny didn’t get to perform it? Was it the same reason that Phil Collins didn’t get to hear his song performed.
Maybe most of the singers and dancers were from the East Coast…

I never knew "Love Somebody" made the charts. That is one of my favorite Springfield songs of all time (yes, I have a few favs). I love the drum part when they break it down to the chorus. YOU BETTER LOVE SOMEBODY (BEAT! BEAT! BEAT!) There were so many Rick songs that blew "Jessie’s Girl" out of the water. This was one of em.

This was, indeed, a pretty damn good week in pop music. I’m glad to see “Love Somebody” get the love it deserves. Rick Springfield, power pop genius!

Nice to hear “Hello” turned into a rocker. We need to hear more live performance clips, Jason!
