The story I hear is that Elvis actually would have liked to do A Star Is Born...the big problem was good old Colonel Tom, who blanched at the thought of moviegoers finally getting to see Elvis awash in drugs and booze.

When I was a wee lad, I went to my sister's school fair and found them selling grab bags for a buck apiece, each of which had a promotional 45 discard...err, I mean, donated by a local radio station. I picked up Willie Hightower's cover of "Walk A Mile in My Shoes" and was mightily unimpressed that it wasn't the Joe South original. Years go by and I learn Willie's version is now considered a classic of deep-fried Southern soul. I wonder if that 45 is still at my parents' house somewhere...

yeah, exactly, having a seperate window next to the youtube clip that you scroll up and down in... i was thinking it would be weird/hard for you programmers to make just that part of the site like that--but it would be cool!

Our commentary on the clip would need to be separate fields and then that field would have autonomous scrollability. As a page however, it might become way too complicated to simply "bang out".

Ah, I understand now. You're right, that does suck -- I'm surprised no one has ever pointed it out before. On the other hand, I'm really not sure how we'd be able to fix it...

But when you scroll down on the page to read the comments you can't look at the clip playing while you read the comments, see what im saying?

so if someone makes fun of something that happens in the video, youd have scroll back up to the video and rewind it to find it and such... it's a very nitpicky criticism, i guess. sorry. just curious about it.

I'm not sure I understand the question. The YouTube clip is there, you press play, you read the commentary. What am I missing?

Hey Jeff, or whoever...

Is there a way to set this up so that we can see the youtube clip at the same time as we're reading the commentary? I would imagine that would be a bitch to set up, huh. It'd just be cool so that when you guys make comments on the video especially we could see it at the same time.

This is one of my favorite features even though I usually hate a lot of the songs!
