Don't get me wrong– I like “Sneaking Sally Through the Alley” and “Pressure Drop” both, but I don't think you can call either “adventurous” or even quirky. Robert Palmer was white bread Brit-Pop eyecandy, and what made this and “Addicted to Love” great was the way that they embraced the way that video could turn a song into a hit by embracing the eyecandy aesthetic.
