Not so much that they are bad albums, but that everyone since then has tried to reproduce them. From watered down grunge to silly gangster rap, there hasn't been much good music since 1992. Not a bad song, but coming so quickly on the heels of "Mary Jane's Last Dance" -- and practically stealing the damn guitar pattern -- it bugged me no end.<br><br>Especially since Petty stole "Mary Jane" from The Jayhawks' "Waiting For The Sun" just a half-year earlier.<br><br>I know there is little original in rock, but c'mon now.
