Yes I saw Mike Levine on the Wheel. I don't think he won anything. He said he was trying to get funds together to bring back the Band.

Much love for “If Only” and “Somebody's Out There” off that LP, as well. Yeah, as a whole it was a bit late 80s production heavy (Kansas' “In The Spirit of Things,” please pick up the white courtesy phone), but really – Rik's hooks on that one were pretty outstanding. His first solo disc “Absolutely” was good, but for me a step back, writing-wise.

Damn great guitarist.

Ooh, good one. I didn't care for Sport of Kings all that much when it came out, but that is a good song. I'll have to revisit the record at some point. I'm a little Triumphed out at the moment.

My favorite undiscovered Triumph track is “Don't Love Anybody But Me” from “The Sport of Kings”. I totally missed it during the 80's, but read about it on the old Kurt's Krap blog. I sought it out, and it's now one of my favorites.
