We start with some ’90s alt-pop/rock, followed by some Northern dance, and then a six-song set that proves the adage that brevity is the soul of wit.

And then I go and spoil it all by playing something stupid like Daniel Powter. But not that song. Something much better that will surprise you.

Not gonna lie, this is a strange show, but the sum adds up to more than its parts. And it all makes sense in the Medskerverse, if you take a step back.

Other artists in this week’s show include Locksley, The Primitives, Del Amitri and, making their ridiculously late Dizzy Heights debut considering how much I love them, New Order.

I make a comment about ClearChannel banning The Boss’ “Born to Run” post-9/11. I’m fairly certain that I meant to say “Born in the USA.” With any luck, 3 Doors Down will be the first to confirm this.

Thank you, as always, for listening.
