The wife and I were watching SNL in the ’90s the other night (much to the delight of Jason, to whom I’d earlier griped, “Isn’t it a little soon for this kind of thing? And does this show ever stop running retrospectives on itself?”) and at almost every musical interlude, she nudged me and said, “I like this song.”

Being the dutiful husband that I am, I’ve since set about making a massive ’90s mix for her — it’s hovering around 120 songs right now, but more on that in a future post — and what to my wandering mouse should appear but this blood-curdling morsel from the withered taint of a dusty CD single in my office?

Cher – Believe (Club 69 Future Anthem Mix)

It’s nine and a half minutes long.

You can thank me later.
