Thanks for this. I'm a big fan of Don's stuff and his production work.

Jones' “Match Game” and “Used Guitars” rate very highly in my book, but I never could get into “Any Kind Of Lie” very much. Seemed too…Adult Contemporary or something, or it just didn't have the same edge that the two A&M albums had.

“My Tidy Doily Dream” is in my 'to listen to' stack. Looking forward to next week.

What time period are you talking about? Late 80s and early 90s. Or before then? Possible we all crossed paths.

I don't think I was the heavy-set guy, stage right.
