I was not in love with <i>Big Generator</i> as much as you, but I didn't think it deserved the drubbing it got in the music press at the time. I got this LP as a freebie when I worked weekends at a radio station. It was the last of the "good old days" when record companies would send out a box full of free albums to radio stations to give away. I still have the LP -- though it's pretty scratched up.
