I was not in love with &lt;i&gt;Big Generator&lt;/i&gt; as much as you, but I didn&#039;t think it deserved the drubbing it got in the music press at the time.  I got this LP as a freebie when I worked weekends at a radio station.  It was the last of the &quot;good old days&quot; when record companies would send out a box full of free albums to radio stations to give away.
