Back then the New Haven & Hartford channels were too far away to be pulled in so the NY stations were all that we'd watch, thus the repeated exposure to Playworld, Crazy Eddie's, Korvettes and all the other great stores of my childhood which are now gone.. The Playworld globe reminded me a lot of the Young People's Day Camp happy face. Playworld is also burned into my brain and the brain of one of my very best friends. We grew up in Stamford, CT.
