Sidney Blumenthal is reporting that the McCain camp is thrilled that they were able to use Gustav to keep Bush and Cheney away from Minneapolis. Bush isn't very happy about though, and whatever temporary truce there was between McCain and Bush has evaporated.

Well, today's SF Chronicle has a story that mentioned Pete Wilson's speech, and from crowd reaction was to it, I think the Reps want a lot of red meat speeches 'cause Pete sure was flinging it.
