Thanks! Thelma's name came up in my research but I ran out of time and didn't get a chance to mention her or the other recent "big" names (Pietro Scalia and Michael Kahn) in editing.

Great post. Editing is so valuable and underrated--true. I love Thelma Schoonmaker's work with Martin Scorsese. And Dede Allen really made "Bonnie and Clyde" rough and elegant at the same time with her editing. She also did "Dog Day Afternoon." And oh my, "The Breakfast Club." That is a diverse filmography. Hats off to these fine ladies of filmmaking.
