I thought that is what the feminists were telling us we needed for decades. I guess it has to be the right kind of woman.

Yeah, because women -- especially feminists -- are completely without rational thought and want just *any* ol' woman to be in power, not the one who has the best ideas for running the country. And uggos need not apply.

Seriously?

WTF, indeed.

A woman in a position of power. I kind of like the idea of Ludlum's descendants cashing magnificent royalty checks based on nothing more than a catchy title (don't get me wrong, I enjoyed both of the Bourne books I read - Identity and Supremacy - but the movies' storyline diverges from them about fifteen seconds into the first movie).

It's always been amusing to me that these films have had almost literally nothing in common with the books that they share their titles with. I'm having flashbacks of the '04 campaign!

A woman in a position of power. I thought that is what the feminists were telling us we needed for decades. I guess it has to be the right kind of woman. And dw, you are correct in your implication, Palin was selected as an opposite but equal part of the ticket for the Republicans. Much like the reason every other VP selection (other than Gore for Clinton) for the last million years has been chosen.

But hey, back to the music. I don't think I ever paid attention to the ending credits of any of the three, but I have to admit, it's a catchy tune. Although it is pretty far from my usual listening tastes.

I was afraid. When you mentioned an ending of a Bourne film I was scared to death you were going to bring up the "alternate ending" of the first movie. Eeeee-gads did that blow.

I always loved me a Ludlum book. They did a good job with the movies, given the politically correct system that rules in Hollywood.

And since you asked it tongue in cheek, I will answer the same way. Since Jason Bourne and Michael Westen are fictional characters, they would do nothing.

Wow, as the resident conservative that hangs out here (to much ridicule if I remember), I have to say, you guys are really starting to lose it.
