Here’s your first taste of the new Paul Thomas Anderson film, The Master, the writer-director’s first project since 2007’s Oscar-winning There Will Be Blood. It stars Joaquin Phoenix, in his first film since the bizarre pseudo-documentary I’m Still Here, as well as Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams, and Laura Dern. The Master is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on October 12.
