Porcupine Tree frontman Steven Wilson’s second solo album,Grace for Drowning,bows in late September but, as usual, Popdose can’t wait (We’re the impatient type, apparently). The latest collection is said to mix Wilson’s self-professed love of King Crimson’s jazzier side with his own classic rock/chamber pop tendencies and this track, “Like Dust I Have Cleared From My Eye” certainly falls along those lines.

Meh. This sounds like the “alright everyone, let’s cool down for a moment” track that usually gets stuck at the end of a PT disc. It might sound better within the context of a full album.
