Whoa. It’s November 1 already?
As some of you already know, or may have guessed, my wife and I are the proud owners of a shiny new baby. Her arrival dovetailed rather nicely with our unplanned downtime here at the blog, so while I’ve been waiting for the odometer to roll over on the bandwidth, I’ve been spending lots of time staring at our screaming little person.
Just kidding. Well, about the screaming part. She’s actually pretty quiet. So far.
Anyway, things will be coming back to life around here very soon. First order of business is part one of the Complete Idiot’s Guide to Genesis, expertly guest-blogged by a towering giant among Jefitoblog readers, and from there, we’ll roll merrily along.
I would be remiss if I didn’t insert a few profuse thanks to the people who donated to the blog bandwidth fund while we were down. Your contributions are deeply, deeply appreciated; regardless of the amount, I’m baffled and touched that anyone would think my blathering or anything associated with it is worth paying for. Y’all are mensches. Truly.
That’s it for now. Just wanted to give you a heads up. I’m going to do my best to get Genesis part I up tomorrow, and then start tackling this enormous backlog of new music I’ve built up since the lights went out here a couple of weeks ago. I hope I didn’t lose too many of you…
