I bought this album back when it came out thanks to a mention on Tbogg's blog, and enjoyed it quite a bit.

And FWIW, I think their name is *very* PETA-friendly. It serves as a warning not to leave our canine friends trapped in dangerous conditions, a public service announcement any pro-animal group would approve of.

How embarrassing: even though the CD was sitting right in front of me, I proceeded to repeatedly mis-type the album's title as “Please INTRODUCE Yourself.” (I have, as you have no doubt noticed, gone back to repair the damage done.)

Only way to settle this: make an XTC cover, like…hmm….Chalkhills and Children or King for a Day. That'd kill the dogging comparisons. Sorry. Not really.

Love, love, LOVE the album and had no clue they broke up! But sorry Mac, the XTC comparisons won't be going away anytime soon.
