I was mighty worried when I saw the headline, but thank you Jack, for seeing “DD” for what it really was – free-wheeling fantasy for the 10 year old who grabbed it off the stands in 1978. I adored this (and “Eternals” and Jack's “Black Panther” AND Jack's 3rd go-round on “Captain America”) and I'm glad to read you did, too.

All I know is that, for a brief period in the '80s, I thought I really had something when I picked up a copy of “Devil Dinosaur” #1. (I was such a naive young lad…) But given that I'm the proud owner of Marvel's “Godzilla” anthology, I still might end up taking a trip down memory lane with this collection at some point.
