They could not afford Chevok to be in Star Trek TAS.

Maybe Star Trek The Animated Series can get a complete tune up where digital composition is used to write remove the matte lines around the enterprise as it goes through space and also be used to darken the colors so the colors are not as bad.

In fixing the voice acting problem you would have to write it to the ear by marking up the script.

Make a copy of all of the orginal Star Trek TAS voice acting cassettes and then use Audacity to fix their voices.

In The Time Trap hire Michael Dorn who played Worf from Star TNG to George Takei Klingon voice.

The animated series is hampered by terrible animation I could have produced single handedly better never mind a team of animators in a studio setting. I'm sure they had time and budget restraints though. I can't argue too much with most of the above review although it does rise above its limitations in a few episodes with stories suited for a half hour (20 some minutes really) format and there is some decent background art here and there. The best thing is surely the voices of the familiar cast, and I quite like the M'ress wierd creepiness, she is an alien afterall. Arex on the other hand… he does add more of an alien feel to the cast but I wondered what happened to Chekov.
