Here’s what I’m reviewing at Bullz-Eye this week:

Enigma’s A Posteriori :

(“It isn’t bad, necessarily, but why in the world does anybody need more than one Enigma album? There are petrified forests that have shown more growth in the last fifteen years.”)

Dwight Yoakam’s Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. (deluxe edition) :

(“Listen carefully, and you can hear a paradigm being forcefully shifted by the toe of Yoakam’s boot.”)

Penn & Teller’s Bullshit! (seasons 1-3) :

(“It might seem disingenuous to deem a show hosted by magicians”important,” but “Bullshit!” deserves it. Critical thinking is dying a lingering death in this country, and what’s worse, buttheads like John Stossel earn a comfortable living pretending to use it; as a result, all kinds of nonsense pollutes the public airwaves without ever being thoughtfully evaluated by depressingly large chunks of the viewing population.”)

I also recently took over their Coming Soon page for theatrical releases. Pretty much everything after January was put together by yours truly. Nothing important, but if you like the little blurbs I do for Rotten Tomatoes, you might get a kick out of it:
