Right then, being that I'm not far from Malibu, I shall see what I can do to get a '78 450 SL, maybe formally owned by Foster himself. Bwahahaha! That should complete your trip into madness.

Looking forward to the coming weeks...bashing my idol and all.

Via Alaska and the Bering Strait? How far was it from Sarah Palin's kitchen window to Russia again? Who am I kidding; I would never survive driving a 450 SL all the way through Russia. But what a ride it would've been.

If you'll agree to drive it to Norway from my house, I will certainly do everything in my power to get you a 450 SL.

Thanks Sharon, you're very kind. Are you reading this, Jeff? A car! Can I have a 450 SL? I'll use it for promotional stunts for Popdose, I promise. It'll be like Thomas Magnum and Robin Masters, only in Norway!

And you're absolutely right about my lack of affection for his recent efforts. Even though strange things are happening to me in this process, I'll be hard pressed to find anything positive to say about All-4-One or Kenny G.

I have seen your "Madness" posts here and there and thought maybe it would be a complete David Foster bashing, that I ignored it and moved on. For whatever reason, I gave in and have read all the posts (& comments) and I have sincerely enjoyed it all. I too grew up with the sappy 80s ballads that helped define my teen yrs and created the soundtrack for those awkward times. I am a bit embarassed to admit today, how much I've enjoyed Foster's music (as it would make people cringe or worse). I look forward to reading your next posts, but fear you will be less kind or adoring of Foster's more "recent" projects - I also sense that you may be breaking down after so many weeks of Foster-ized music. That combined with the coverage of more current Foster projects will not be pretty and possibly bloody. Can't wait! You should get a raise or a car or something of some significant value!

Sorry 'bout that - Popdose was down for a few hours last Thursday, and I jumped at the opportunity to get a week ahead on my posts. I'm lazy.

Enjoy the rectal cancer while you can. You probably already know this, but it doesn't get better from here on out.

First off, where ya been? Not that I was missing David Foster's Rhodes/Piano fondue, but your earnest pontification (evidence of brainwashing, maybe) really tempers the rest of my week. So, holidays are right out for the next 33 weeks, please make a note of it and thanks!

... regarding What About Me, I now know what it is like to have rectal cancer in my audio canal. For that, I will come back next week for the cure.

Oops, sorry. I fixed the link. I don't know whether it's a good thing or a bad thing that it took 9 hours for someone to figure it out.
