Haha, David Foster could very well be a pod. But Poco was apparently spared - he never had anything to do with them.

Um, maybe I should rather say "country soft rock." It goes well with tea, I think. You may still need your tequila, though.

Don't count on the sobriety just yet... especially if it turns out he played on a Marshall Tucker Band lp (don't spoil it for me; I'm stocking up on tequila just in case).

Glad to see you're still here. A Foster drinking game! Wonderful. Two sips for every key change and vocal ad lib! When you wake up with a hangover on Thursday you're in for some country rock, Foster style. Maybe you'll stay sober next week?

I'm still following this mad train, Terje, but My Love Is Alive is one of the cheesiest pop songs disguised as a rocker. I can hear Peter Cetera singing this without any effort... Sammy Hagar, too. And Babs... that's it for now. I'm going to the bar. Everyone take a drink when she says something that sounds awkward coming out of her mouth. Ready?
Beetlebug (drink)
human (drink)
cows (drionk)
speckled trout (drinnnk)
daisies running riot (ddinkr)
Foster's organ (thunk)

Yeah, I considered posting some of the album tracks on the Gary Wright album but nothing really stands out. "Dream Weaver" and "My Love Is Alive" are by far the most interesting tracks. I love the sound of it too, though.

I like the feel of "Lazy Afternoon" - except for "Shake Me, Wake Me" it really lives up to its title. I wonder if that's kind of a joke, putting an upbeat song called "Shake Me, Wake Me (When It's Over)" in the middle of this really mellow record? And is it a coincidence that producer Rupert Holmes' next assignment was a Sparks record, or did he badly need to kick all this mellowness out of his system?
