I would have to agree with your statement about P.A.S.S.I.O.N. I also can't ever remember hearing it on Philly radio growing up either.

I actually want to hear “Bohemian Rap City.” Sounds kinda new-jack swingy. Or maybe it would be good for Snoop. I'd like to hear him slow-slur his way through “Scaramouche! Scaramouche! Will you do the fandango!” BTW, “BoRapCity” did work its way up the recurrent charts in the winter of '91-'92, but certainly wouldn't have been re-released as a single without WW. Whether we still would have been subjected to what Morrissey would have called the “reissue, repackage, repackage” of Queen's music that year is another question — but I remember how pissed off I was when they took “BoRapCity” off of the reissued version of “Queen's Greatest Hits,” and shoved it on “GH2″ so that people wouldn't have a choice but to buy the '80s stuff.

As for “P.A.S.S.I.O.N.,” wouldya believe I never heard it back then in the first place? Radio stations in Philly must not have been playing it. I can't believe I missed out on that video. Thank goodness for this column…we live to serve, after all…
