I like the songs but the whole thing is so....over-bearing and 'meaningful', I just want them to lighten up. Ultimatly U2 was to the late 80s what Coldplays is to the late 00s; rock music for people who don't really like rock music. hah. The Joshua Tree seemed to kick off Bono's imperial phase which kind of puts me off the whole thing.
