Of course, he had his genius brother Brian as a teacher. I met Dennis at the old Peaches records store in Dearborn Mi when he was out promoting it after the release. He was very friendly , gave a firm handshake and posed for a photo with me (and you didn't have to buy anything). Like I said, it's a good album.

It's actually a decent album. Of course, he had his genius brother Brian as a teacher. This sounds like the same take, but the one I had seemed like a copy so far removed from the original master that it might as well be a different song!

Can't wait to get this on three LPs!

I wasn't able to find a copy of this today (stores in Toronto didn't seem to have gotten it in yet), but comparing this version for “He's A Bum” and my bootlegged version – wow! However reading this piece coerced, nay, forced me to buy it today.

I'm glad I have it but, damn, thirty bucks. When's this Popdose thing supposed to make us all solid gold Gs in the 'Netterhood? (Who spiked my Diet Coke???)

I'll have you know that I was intending on buying this set… some day. However, I've been among those who have belittled his singing- his vocals on "Cuddle Up" and "Make it Good" are excruciating These sample cuts, though, sound much better.

God, “He's a Bum” DOES sound like Duit On Mon Dei-era Nilsson, doesn't it?

I've been meaning to scare up a copy of Pacific Ocean Blue for a long time now- when it originally came out, I hadn't been listening to the Boys very long at all.
