I have the original single 'Season of Lights' LP, but I haven't played it in years. I had no idea there was a double LP promo version (my copy actually is a white label promo). I always liked 'Smile,' even though it seemed lightweight in comparison to everything she did before. There was another live album she released in the '80s on A&M that was pretty good too, if I remember correctly.

Damn, I really need to clear some shelf space! Overarching critical assessments of the late sixties tend to leave her out, but Eli & the 13th Confession and New York Tendaberry are masterful albums.

If you haven't checked some of the later work out by now, Smile and Nested are well worth tracking down -- and it can be hard to track them down.

I wish I'd ever had the chance to see her live. My wife got to see her live at least a couple times, and can be heard in the audience cheering on the Bottom Line recording.

She was just a wonderful songwriter, arranger, and performer.
