The entire tent full of people were participating and into it so I agree...it was nice to see they moved to the Fort stage so more people could take in their talent. However, I just feel that they have moved onto that realm of "unreachability" and while they were fantastic, it wasn't the party it was last year! Nevertheless, fantastic!

My standout this year was also Iron & Wine. The man left me speechless, as well as the audience! At an outdoor venue such as Fort Adams, you would expect alot of revelry and milling about. I could not believe the respect and attention he got, although he was simply captivating. You could literally hear a pin drop right there on the grass through his entire set. Which was true, as you mentioned, of most acts. The respect these people have for the musicians is just not what you find at most venues. It was fantastic that we could actually hear everything all the artists were singing without someone screaming lyrics in your ear or telling you about their recent personal dramas.

The stand out for me last year was also the Avett Brothers after they rocked that Harbor stage into oblivion.
