Zeppelin's fine and all, and superb musicians, but they don't exactly groove (except on a handful of songs). Cactus knows how to get in the pocket and stay there…

I used to jam to “Evil” with a friend of mine. Carmine's drumming can be kind of tricky in parts — but it sure is fun to play.

Cactus' “Restrictions” album was one of my very early gateways to heavy metal. LOVE that album, always have. It's been a part of my musical diet since I can remember, as it was one of my father's records that I got my hands on during my pre-school days. What a criminally underrated band. I've been burned out on Zeppelin for years, but I never get sick of Cactus. Thanks for posting this.
