Yeah, of all the artists that you wouldn't think would make such a radical change it would be Carly. Thankfully she learned the error of her ways and went back to her warm, well-sung trademark music.

I actually liked this at the time, certainly probably the only thing by Carly S that I did. I always thought I looked splendid in my promo grey with a pink WHY logo t shirt too.

My favorite “'lost” Carly Simon track from her early 80's output is “Take Me As I Am” from Come Upstairs. Great song, followed up “Jesse,” but didn't fare as well.
