I can still remember seeing Jeff and Steve striding through the audience in their '70s-inspired attire after their performance. Good times... You know, even when Steve himself told me that it wasn't Paul Stanley on “1976,” I still refused to believe him. I have since come around, but, damn, it is CRAZY how much Robert sounds like him on that track.

BTW, I saw Redd Kross live in London, when they played Finsbury Park as part of “In the Park '92,” which was headlined by The Cult, w/ Pearl Jam coming in a distant second on the bill. She's a real nice lady. I remember Jeff and Steve gave her a copy of Ashley and Mary Kate's "How the West Was Fun"<br><br>- The new lineup features guitar genius Robert Hecker from the Third Eye lineup. Besides being a guitar GEENIE, he is also the one who does the dead on Paul Stanley immitation in "1976"<br><br>- I didn't "get" Phaseshifter for years after it came out. I was like "when the hell did they get into BTO?" or whatever 70's hard junk they were inspired by. When I finally got it, it was one of those angels singing, beam of light from the clouds moments. That said, the Phaseshifter shows I saw at the Middle East Cafe and the Paradise in Boston are among some of the best/most fun shows I've ever seen.
