Because the Teen Beat label was a small operation you actually made checks directly payable to Mark Robinson-so when you got your returned check back from the bank it was like getting a bonus autograph on the back. I still have my “Perfect Teeth” comb somewhere that I bought from Teen Beat mail order back in 1993 (alongside the bonus tracked version of Imperial ffrr).
