Agree with all said above, obviously… there's definitely such a thing as TMI, but I'm not so worried about that with this. Everyone did embarrassing things when they were young, and it's fun to bond over them. Granted, there are definitely some things to keep private, but dancing around in a skirt ain't so bad.

…unless that guy above thinks I'm a dude. I'm not a dude, if that's what you were thinking, wombosi…

Not that I have anything against dudes who wear skirts, either. I actually know a few.

Yeah, I didn't find anything too revealing in the article, it was sweet and very heartfelt. Plus, I dig the song a lot – esp the original studio version. One of Stevie's best compositions.

It's actually posts like this and Malchus' “Basement Songs” series that keep me engaged with music blogging. Once they've charted and receded from heavy rotation, pop songs serve their greatest purpose as triggers for memory and emotion, and as signposts reminding us how we've lived our lives. I love stories like this, of one person's interaction with a song–and the more personally wrenching and bizarre, the better, I say!
