Boy, I never thought of White City as particularly well-recorded, but the dynamic range of this cut seems very wide compared to today's sonically smushed-up compressed affairs. As Bruce Cockburn says, the trouble with normal is it always gets worse. <br><br>But speaking of Cockburn, if you want to travel back to the dim distant past of the mid 1970s, Cockburn's song Silver Wheels has a uniquely frenetic and appropriate trumpet solo.
