Thanks for mentioning one of my favorite collections of songs by anyone: “Welcome Home” by 'Til Tuesday (Aimee Mann). The production sounds dated but they are still very effective songs. I agree that the “misery muse” has been missing in her songwriting. It's as if she's worried too much about being sophisticated as opposed to just letting her talent flow. In addition to “31 Today” I like “Little Tornado” and “It's Over”. “Its Not” from “Lost In Space” was her last stunning song.
